Royal Mail Strike Action

Royal Mail Strike Action Dates

Update:

Royal Mail have added further strike action dates. These include the 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 23rd and 24th of December. We are so sorry for inconvenience this will cause.

Update:

CWU have withdrawn strike dates for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th of November. Services on these dates will now continue as normal, meaning your orders should not be delayed on these dates.

Royal Mail are currently in disputes with the Communication Workers Union (CWU) over the pay of Royal Mail employees. As a result there are a number of proposed strike dates throughout November and December that may affect how quickly your orders get to you. The dates are as follows:
November 2
November 3
November 4
November 8
November 9
November 10
November 14
November 15
November 16
November 23
November 24
November 25
November 28
November 30
December 1
December 2
December 9
December 11
December 14
December 15
December 23
December 24
Please be aware that your orders may take longer to get to you as a result of the strike action and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We recommend ordering extra early if you need your order for a specific date or choosing Tracked 24 (if in UK) to ensure quicker delivery.
If you are based outsider of the UK, the strike action may still have an affect on your order so again we recommend you order extra early.
We are keeping an eye on the situation and will update if there are any changes for the strike action. We are hopeful that Royal Mail and CWU will come to an agreement soon.
